What does the PTSA do?
We use proceeds raised from membership and active and passive fundraising programs to fund certain school staffing, department expenses (i.e. supplies, clubs, counseling), student and parent events and teacher appreciation efforts. The organization works throughout the year to support the school and community.
At Roosevelt, our PTSA community building initiatives include:
- Lunch clubs and after school programs
- Communication via our Facebook Group
- Parent and student-led committees
- and SO much more!
The PTSA is proud to support our amazing educators and principal via:
- Volunteering time and fundraising to support school events
- Bridging the resource and financial gap due to lack of funding
- Fostering communication between parents, staff and the district
- Teacher & staff appreciation events
